What was it like going home from the hospital for you? Did your baby have any medical issues?
I have been very lucky with all three of my kids and no major medical problems. Jordan my oldest was the only one born in a hospital. I had a fast delivery and went home a few days later. I guess the whole mother thing came pretty natural for me. I did try to breastfeed my son, but after struggling with it for two weeks I gave up to the bottle. I was blessed with my son being so easy to take care of. He was what every mother would want for being a first time mom.
My two girls were both born at home so there was no dealing with medical staff and living by there rules. I work in the medical field and enjoyed being able to have my them at home and being able to do things my way. Both of my girls were healthy but need to have billi lights since they both had jaundice. Morgan my second one had a hard time trying to breast feed her and bottle feed her as well. She just didn't have a interest in latching on. It took a lot of work to get her to latch on to the bottle, but after awhile she finally came around. Overall Morgan was pretty easy also just had to put her on a soy formula since she would spit up a lot with regular formula.
Erin has been pretty easy also, I tried to breast feed here but I don't know if I was not getting her to latch on properly or what but by the end of week I was into much pain to continue and switched her to the bottle. She also had to be under lights for about a day. I have been blessed with my kids and how easily they have been. Now for the toddler age and the tantrums I deal with. That is another story.

Thanks for sharing!
Jennifer! Hey! What a small world... I hadn't checked your blog for a few weeks. I just started doing the mommy talk posts as well. Although I'm not good at keeping up. Ooops!
talk to you soon
